Everything You Need To Know Before Your Visit
Before Your Appointment:
Arrive with your dog on a secure leash.
Give your pup a potty break before coming inside.
If your dog has any medical conditions, mobility issues, or behavioral concerns, let us know at check-in.
Avoid feeding a large meal immediately before the appointment if your dog gets nervous.
After Your Groom:
Your dog may be extra sleepy after their appointment. Grooming is both physically and mentally stimulating!
Keep an eye on bows or bandanas if your dog likes to chew.
Coat Care at Home:
Regular brushing between appointments helps prevent painful mats and keeps your dog comfortable.
We can recommend the right brush and comb for your dog's specific coat.
Bathing at home? Be sure your dog is completely dry before brushing to help avoid tangles.
Nail Care:
Most dogs benefit from nail trims every 3–6 weeks.
Long nails can affect posture, traction, and joint comfort.
Why Routine Grooming Matters
A consistent grooming schedule isn't just about looking cute, it also helps:
Keep skin and coat healthy.
Prevent painful matting.
Catch lumps, bumps, or skin issues early.
Reduce shedding.
Keep ears, nails, and sanitary areas clean and healthy.
Matting Policy
Severely matted coats can be painful and may require a shorter haircut than requested. Our first priority is your dog's comfort and safety. We'll always discuss options with you before proceeding whenever possible
Flea Policy
If fleas are discovered during your dog's appointment, a flea bath may be required to protect all pets in our salon. Additional fees may apply.

Most dogs benefit from grooming every 4–8 weeks, depending on their breed, coat type, and lifestyle. We'll be happy to recommend a grooming schedule that's best for keeping your pup healthy, comfortable, and looking their best.
-
Most grooming appointments take approximately 3–4 hours. This allows us to give each dog the individual attention they deserve without rushing the process. We'll contact you as soon as your pup is ready for pickup.
-
Absolutely! We love introducing puppies to grooming in a positive, stress-free way. Early grooming experiences help build confidence and set the foundation for a lifetime of successful grooming appointments. We recommend scheduling your puppy's first visit after they've received their veterinarian's recommended vaccinations.

Yes! Senior dogs hold a special place in our hearts. We take extra care to ensure they're comfortable throughout their appointment by allowing additional breaks, using gentle handling techniques, and adjusting the groom to meet their individual needs.
-
Many dogs experience some anxiety when visiting the groomer, and that's perfectly okay. We use a calm, patient approach and work at your dog's pace whenever possible. Building trust is important to us, and our goal is to make every visit a positive experience.
-
For the comfort and safety of all dogs in our salon, we ask that pet parents do not stay during the grooming appointment. Most dogs actually settle more quickly once their owners have left, allowing us to build trust and keep the environment calm and focused.
-
Yes, possibly, but only when necessary. Dogs may spend a short amount of time in a clean, comfortable crate before or after their groom, depending on scheduling and safety. If your dog isn't comfortable being crated, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate their needs.
