Lauren

Owner

I've always believed that the best businesses are built on passion, purpose, and community.

My career began in management and entrepreneurship back in 2002, and I've proudly owned businesses in the pet industry since 2009. Throughout the years, my love for animals has only grown, especially when it comes to animal rescue and giving pets the care, patience, and compassion they deserve. Combining that passion with my entrepreneurial spirit has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

I moved to Indiana in 2021 in search of a slower pace and a stronger sense of community. Just six months later, I started my pet business, and it quickly became clear that I had found exactly where I was meant to be. In 2025, Chelsie and I opened Jackson St Grooming with a shared vision of creating something different, a salon where quality always comes before quantity, where every pet is treated like family, and where relationships matter just as much as beautiful grooms.

My dream has always been to own a business in a small town where neighbors know one another, local businesses support each other, and being part of the community means more than simply opening your doors each morning. Jackson St Grooming is that dream brought to life, and I feel incredibly grateful to be part of the amazing community we've found here.

When I'm not at the salon, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, relaxing with our Golden Retriever, or laughing at the antics of our cat, Oreo, better known by his friends as "Murder Mittens."

Chelsie

I’ve been making dogs fabulous for over 20 years. At this point, I’m pretty sure grooming dogs is less of a career and more of a lifestyle.

I’m a Certified Canine Esthetician and an AKC NDGAA Certified Master Groomer, a title I’ve proudly held since 2012. I’m also an Army National Guard Veteran, so I bring a little discipline to the grooming table... although the dogs don’t always follow orders.

When I’m not at the salon, I’m at home in Cicero with my husband, Scott, our son, Nathan, and our two Standard Poodles, Rip & Envy, who firmly believe that being groomer’s dogs means they should always be looking their absolute best.

Outside of grooming, I’m happiest around horses, camping, a good book, or anywhere I can go swimming. Basically, if there are animals, the outdoors, or a little time to unwind involved, I’m probably in.

I love what I do, I love the dogs who keep me on my toes, and I’m pretty darn lucky to get to spend my days doing something I’ve loved for two decades.

Kadie

I started grooming right out of high school, graduating with a certificate of grooming in winter of 2010! I've been grooming full time ever since. From corporate settings to vet clinics, I've found my home in Jackson St. Grooming Co! 

I love all breeds but Schnauzers have a special place in my heart. My first Mini Schnauzer, Trixie, is the reason I got into grooming when I was younger. Now my Schnauzer, Delilah, is a salon celebrity and even has a haircut named after her. 

In my spare time I enjoy all outdoor activities with Delilah, hiking and kayaking being our favorites. From rock climbing, concerts and dancing, to reading, crochet and video games, I'm always up to something!

Alora

I've been here at Jackson Street Grooming Co. since we opened in 2025. As an up and coming groomer I intend to learn from the best and deliver the quality your beloved pet deserves! Outside of the salon I love to invest my time into plants, baking and my own pets at home.

Elli

I have been with Jackson St Grooming since March 2026. I graduated grooming school in August 2025 and my love for this profession has grown so much because of our team here at Jackson St Grooming Co. Outside of work, I enjoy spending most of my time outdoors whether that’s spent on the lake, taking walks with my dog, Aaliyah, or just enjoying nature! 

I’m proud to contribute to the amazing experience your pup has at our salon!

Caroline

I'm all about cooking, baking, and spreading joy and laughter in every way that I can! A lifelong animal lover, I have had a great fondness for dogs ever since I was little, watching Clifford the Big Red Dog on TV.

It is very fulfilling for me to be able to work in an environment where I get to help dogs by making them all nice and clean and prettied up for their families. I'm very happy to be a part of the Jackson Street Grooming family after graduating from the Dog Grooming Academy of Indiana in November of 2025, and I look forward to meeting your furry friends!

Lainey

I’ve been with the team since August 2025! I love getting to spend my days working with dogs and helping them look and feel their best.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, listening to music, and spending time with my family, friends, and my boyfriend.

My favorite dog breeds are Dobermans and Dachshunds because they both have such unique personalities. I’m so thankful to be part of such a great team and can’t wait for many more years doing what I love!

There is so much trust that comes with handing your dog over to someone else, and we never take that lightly. Every appointment, every familiar face that walks through our doors, and every new client who gives us a chance to care for their pup means more to us than we can put into words. Jackson St. Grooming Co. was built out of a genuine love for dogs, but it’s the relationships we’ve formed with their people and the support of this community that continue to make what we do so special.
